perhaps the slow commenting is due to the quality of the picture. Looks great, nice frame, nice composition. It'd perhaps saturate it more and enhance the sun....

From the Arizona Republic: Seven political activists claiming their civil rights were violated after they were arrested and cited for protesting against Sheriff Joe Arpaio's immigration policies recently were awarded nearly $475,000 by Maricopa County. The settlement, reached this week, was nine times more than what the county's self-insured trust had originally authorized in February, and significantly higher than what the county planned to offer just days before the settlement, according to memos obtained by The Arizona Republic.

Guys, applied recently for EAD and its pending and 180 days has not passed. I am planning to open a part time business. Does anyone know if its ok to start a part time business before the EAD gets approved ? Any insights will be appreciated.

If you draw salary as an employee of the business, it is a problem. Consult an immigration attorney. You cannot take up any work other than what is approved as part of your H1-B.

Friends,
I have a scheduled EAD FP (e-filed) next Monday in the Dallas Area.
My 485 FPs have not yet come and my dates are current. I am planning to ask the ASC Officer if they can take my 485 FPs also. I know some people had success with this method.
However, my situation is a little different,
I do not have my 485 Receipt (Lost in mail and returned as undeliverable :( ). I have opened numerous SRs and have those notices. What can I take to the ASC ??

I have to file a loan application which requires me to state if I am a Lawful Permanent resident alien and I am not sure if I am, can somebody please clarify if I am a Lawful Permanent resident alien or not if I have a pening I-485 application and I am working on EAD?

U Visas: extended until February 1, 2010.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) extended the filing deadline for temporary benefits of the U Non-immigrant Interim Relief Program. The temporary benefits program was set to expire December 31, 2009 but has been recently extended until February 1, 2010.
H-1C Visas: expired December 21, 2009
USCIS accepted H-1C non-immigrant temporary workers petitions expired December 21, 2009. The H-1C classification authorized up to 500 nurses annually to work in eligible health care facilities. Although the visa classification expired, nurses currently in H-1C status will not be affected.
For new updates or changes, please visit the USCIS Web site (http://www.uscis.gov).

I have one question: My I-485 applcation (employment based) was rejected due to I-130 attachment in error.
If USCIS reject my entire package of I-485 because I have attached I-130 application. What are my options? Is there any law that USCIS can only reject I-130 and accept I-485 appplications (myself and for my wife)? I have seperate fee checks for all the applications.
Please help me....
