Immigration Lawyers Blog Has Just Posted the Following:
The California Service Center (CSC) will hold a tour of its facility in Laguna Niguel, California, for HR personnel involved with filing immigration cases for their workers. The tour is on March 11, 2010. It will begin at 12:15PM and end at 1:00PM. From 1:00PM to 2:30PM, CSC officers will meet with the visitors and answer questions. The topics will include best practices for filing and advice HR professionals should give their foreign workers. Please let us know by March 5, 2010 if you'd like to attend and we can arrange your visit.

Here is my situation, my PD is March 05 and my 140 is pending for the past 3 months. Do you guys think if I get my 140 approved by Premium processing it would increase my chances of 485 approval this fiscal year? BTW, as its obvious from my PD I will be filing my 485 in July, God willing.

My PD is 02/2004 EB2-India, and I will be current in June. However, as noted by multiple folks, there is a chance that EB2-India might retrogress during the rest of the fiscal year.
Have folks had luck with an InfoPass interview so push your case? I am afraid that without any encouragement my case will just languish on somebodys desk or in a box.

The Applicant should sign the forms and if he uses any Attorney or Paralegal they have to sign the G-28 form and also on the other forms submitted.

I listened intently to President Obama's State of the Union speech yesterday. The man is clearly a gifted orator. He stressed the need for cooperation between Democrats and Republicans on the big issues facing our country: the economy, climate change and health care reform, but where oh where was immigration? Finally, after the President was over one hour into his speech, I heard the word "immigration". One sentence. Just i have applied for AP through efile. From here what's the procedure? Do i need to send the support documentation? if so, what are all the documents i need to send? please through some light on this. also will i get another bio metrics appointment?
with addition to above my questions, do i need to get stamped to maintain my H1 status? or will it be okay if enter thro' AP and working for my same employer to maintain my H1 status?

I-140 Notice 09/18/07
Title: Accountant
But I just submit I-765 (EAD) renew by 6/22/08. Now I found out my I-140 and I-485 are all approved. Can I revoke or withdraw I-765(EAD) from USCIS?
Do anyone have similar case?

Hi.
My Wife is currently in H4 Visa and in US now. She has total of 11 years IT experience. She lastly worked with a Company X from May 2004 to May 2008 for about 4 years. Currently she is not an employee of Company X and also not working anywhere.
If the same Company X gives an US offer, Is it possible for the Company X to file L1 visa for her so that she can start working for that company immediately ? ( I have read in immigration forums that the L1 Visa Eligibility is that the person should have worked for that company for atleast 1 year within the last 3 years)
Experts, Can you pls give your opinion and suggestion on this ? If so, how long the process takes place for transfering from H4 to L1 visa ?
