Hi,
The doctor I went for Medical exam, he is not placing the 693 and supplement to 693 in the sealed cover. He is using his own form that I filled when I first went there and placing that form in the sealed cover.
Please suggest will INS accept any form other then 693?
I want to make sure what are the forms that need to be in sealed cover before I argue with the doctor.
I appreciate for your inputs.

A friend of mine lost his I797. His lawyer asked him to apply for duplicate.He got the duplicate after few months. I don't know the exact procedure was.

I do not see a problem in filing 2 Green Card applications.The one that comes first gives you a green card which most probably will be employment based.But you may consult an attorney as I am not one.
I am on H1 visa and I have a sister with citizenship.
I am wondering if I can file i-130 (family based immigration) now and file Employment based immigration later?
Is it OK to file 2 green cards applications? which one will take place then?

H4-H1-EAD-AP
Hi All,
Would request any answers or any practical experiences in regards to my queries:
My wife and my infant daughter originally came to the US in 2004 on H4 and my wife got her H1-B also in 2004.
In Oct 2007 I and my wife got our EAD (The GC processing is through my company). Also since our arrival to the US in 2004 we did not go to India . But we are planning to go this summer.
My queries: We are planning to use AP to enter US

What will be my status once I come back from India. Can I maintain H1B Status without going for stamping since I changed my company. to enter US

Hi,
I have the a situation where I need some advice:
I got my first job in june 2005 and was on my OPT until dec 2005. My H1-B was filed by this company and it started from Jan 1, 2006. Now I left the company in Sept 8 2006 and joined a consulting (vendor) firm. I am a contractor at Microsoft through this firm. This firm filed my H1-B on Sept 9, 2006. Now, 2 weeks back, when I checked the status of my case, I saw USCIS sent an RFE requesting more documents from my firm regarding the contract and type of job description. They gave a deadline until feb 2007 to submit docs.
My first initial contract length at Microsoft through this firm is until April 2007, but is more likely to extend for another 6 months.
Now my question is, since I cannot be sure if the contract will extend, I am starting to look for jobs...If I get a job, will it be alright to accept it and have that new company file my H1-B even though my current H1-B from my current firm is still in process and not approved yet?

I got an email from USCIS saying my I-485 case is now transferred to National Benefits Centre and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office.
I am travelling to India currently and plan to re-enter on AP.
I wanted to know if
1. anyone has any ideas as to what this really means, anyone received similar email, experiences?
My priority date is not current so are they pre-adjudicating my case or planning to send a RFE??
2. Should I take any specific steps while re-entering on AP?

I have a copy of Nolo Fiance and marriage Visas and in the section on I130 it says that my copies of G-325A must be filed in four copies printed on differently colored paper (white, green, pink and blue).
A) Is this really necessary?
B) If yes, I have actually bought paper in these colors. Does it have to a particular pink, blue, green etc?
C) The pages in the PDF are actually named
1) Ident.
2) Rec. Br
3) C.
4) Consulate
Which color matches which index? E.g. is the Ident one supposed to be white, blue, pink or green?
Hope someone knows about this.

While we all sit and wait in this painful 485 retrogression, I am just wondering, what if the retrogression pulls on past the 3 year extension (attained after the initial 6 years and I140 approval).
I have my perm LC/I140 approved/485 retrogressed with a PD of Feb 2006.
Being EB2 and starting my 7/8/9 years in early 2007, I am a bit unlikely to hit that scenerio, but someone like me in EB3 is very likely to hit that scenerio...
Does anyone know, what happens after 9 years on H1 and not able to file 485 due to retrogression??

I'm working on L1 & have H1 petition without COS.
Can my H1 employer apply for COS, so that I can change my status from L1 to H1 without visiting India?
Also, I've an offer from a third company... can this company file for Change of Status from L1 to H1 & transfer the H1? I've the H1 petition I129 number, but no paystubs on H1. I've paystubs on L1.
Can I transfer to H1 to this third company? Will I have to get my H1 stamped frmo INdia then join this third company?
If not, is there any other option?

The bike caucus is just one of the zany-sounding groups that lawmakers have created on Capitol Hill to advance niche interests in Congress. There's no trick to creating a caucus -- or "congressional member organization" -- in the House, where it takes just a letter to the Administration Committee. Nearly 300 have registered. The Senate has far fewer groups, and they don't register at all.
But some caucuses have come to play prominent roles on the front lines of Capitol Hill. The Republican Study Committee has worked to amplify the views of the more conservative wing of the GOP. Since Democrats took control of Congress in January, the Congressional Black Caucus has wielded unusual power, with five members serving as chairmen of House committees.

Arizona's reputation for right wing lunacy certainly will be enhanced by this effort. Or maybe there's some pretty rational thinking behind SB1070 and eliminating rights for American born citizens of Hispanic descent. 30% of Arizonans are Hispanic. 42% of all students from kindergarten through twelth grade are Hispanic and the percentage goes even higher for the younger grades. Even if the efforts don't stand up to constitutional muster, maybe the real goal is not to get rid of illegal present immigrants, but, rather, all Hispanics, whether they are legal immigrants, born in the US or illegally present. I am in the process of applying for the green card but as the labor department was delayed to send the paperwork by status became out of status, my lawyer suggested me to go back to my country apply for H1B visa and come back. That is why I want to apply for H1B visa . My lawyer tells me that there is no way I can get an approval if my company doesnt show tax return documents for the last 2 years. Is it true or there is another way or documentation which could be used in order to apply for the visa? My boss doesnt want to show the tax returns but accepts to show a bank account and different type of paperwork such as franchise agreements or certificates.
Can you please let me know if my lawyer suggests me the righ way if not which woudl be the best way to continue my green card process and get a result as soon as possible.
